Built in the 1990s surrounding a beautiful park, this was thought of as real suburban living at its best.  Originally Curtis Park was outside of the City of Sacramento which is very hard to imagine now.  This area is called the City of Trees due to the streets being lined with trees, much in the same manner as Sacramento is.  The homes built here originally were all medium to upper priced, but the community has many wonderful style variations in the architecture of the homes.  You will find wonderful custom single family homes with Victorian, Colonial Revival, Arts and Crafts, Tudor Revival and Spanish Revival styling all over the community.  Most of the homes built originally were known as bungalows, but none are the same.  Today, there are about 30 different subdivisions within Curtis Park.
There are beautiful, spacious and well laid out single family homes here in wonderful neighborhoods, with lush landscaping and all on tree lined streets.  The neighborhoods in Curtis Park are very tightly connected and tightly knit, very politically active.  The residents all take pride of ownership very seriously. It is not unusual to see many people working in their yards each of the 7 days of the week.  The Park is still the center of this community and allows the residents to enjoy the outdoors, by jogging, walking, pushing strollers, walking their dogs or working in their yards.

There are beautiful homes for sale, mostly upper middle income to upper-upper income type properties.  As stated above, the designs are wonderful with just about every type of home, design, and size that anyone would want.  Curtis Park Homes are absolutely fabulous and the location of this community, being only 10 minutes from downtown Sacramento, makes it a ‘WINNER’ for sure.
